You are cursed insects in the realm of Gloomshell. Your mission is to explore this underground world, deal with monstrous abominations, and defend the citizens against the spread of the Fungus. Your king Hyades the Yellow has been overcome by the Fungus, leaving you to fend for yourselves while your king slowly goes mad.

SADNESS & BUGS is a gloomy hack of John Harper's Lasers & Feelings. It's a one page RPG designed to be played in a few sessions and has simple and straightforward mechanics. This hack is heavily inspired by the game Hollow Knight.
